Hello! I am getting into homeassistant with my new house and since i am rebuilding my electric central/panel i will add m-bus meters to some of the critical circuits like heating and hotwater aswell as a water meter. I find this m-bus master hat for raspberry pi 4 but need to know if i can actually use it with HA.
Here is a link for the product datasheet: https://www.electrokit.com/upload/quick/c6/0e/9aad_Datasheet-MBUS-HAT-Rev-C.pdf

I dont think there is any kind of mbus support

#

there are some projects on the forum that convert mbus to MQTT

there are better solutions that integrate directly with home assistant, do not depend on mbus, and if you ever moved on from a raspberry pi you would not have to change hardware. So I recommend that route
