Hello !
i buy a zwa-2 adapter. when i want to upgrade from my ZW090-C aeotec gen5 key (working) adapter, he say SDK not up-to-date.

i follow the procedure ( https://aeotec.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/6000252294-z-stick-gen5-v1-02-firmware-update ) , but always get the “press N-reset button” error. driver “programming” is correcty installed, on new pc, device is ready, but upgrade refuse.
When i'm in HA, he say “firmware 1.1, up-to-date”….
i don't know what to do to migrate to zwa2 !

disappointed about numbers of answers ... 🙁
Finally i found a way (thanks to aeotec support), maybe useful for others in futur :

  • key refuse to upgrade v1.1 to v1.2 (famous "n-reset button" error)
  • eeprom backup
  • factory reset (press 20 sec reset button until 2 sec fix blue led) - disconnect-reconnect
  • upgrade V1.1 to V1.2 without problem - disconnect - reconnect
  • restore backup
  • working fine with V1.2
  • can migrate to ZWA2 without problem within H.A.
    rem : i learned that if your key is in V1.1, it's NOT older than 2018 than it CAN be upgraded to v1.2 then to ZWA2
    long life to H.A. ! ❤️
