Hi all,

I have recently set up four VPEs and notice there's no way to cancel an accidental request without pressing the physical button at the top of the device. Has anyone else come up with something or knows something I don't? Because when I say nevermind or cancel it just asks a follow up question until I eventually walk over to it and press the top button manually.

you can adjust the wake word sensitivity to try and get less false positives but your right sometimes cancelling is not something that is easily done.
if when its responding (about to ask a question) you say "stop" then it should discontinue.
you could also adjust your llm prompt to tell it to discontinue without asking follow ups if you say nevermind/cancel or simalar

Yeah whenever I say "cancel" it says "I'm sorry, I did not understand what you mean by cancel. Is there something else I can help with?"

So sounds like I should start first by tweaking the LLM prompt in Ollama integration (conversation agent)?

yeah there's a good chance you can probably tune the prompt a bit to know what you are trying to do

oh my god IT WORKED! Thank you so much. It was testing my sanity when I'd tell it nevermind and it wouldn't stop.
