Hello!

I'm looking for lightbulbs that meet these criteria
-Cheap (5-15$ per pc)
-No manufacturer BS like cloud etc
-Ideally Thread or ZigBee
-Good white channel CRI
-RGB
-Available on aliexpress

I currently own athom WLED lightbulbs because how open and hackable they are but their white channel isn't properly exposed to HA and HomeKit and I thought maybe something better exists
Thank you!

I think you’re best off forgetting RGB if you also want good white control. Just my 2p worth.

should note that in general lights with tunable white balance aren't known for having great cri. The ikea ones are on the upper edge of your price range, but iirc they advertise an "80-90 CRI".

Aqara claims that their "LED Bulb T1" has pretty good colour rendering, and it can be found on Aliexpress, but no RGB support. It should be a pretty standard zigbee bulb.

The Aqara T2 bulb, which has an rgb model and switchable matter+thread / zigbee firmware doesn't appear to be on aliexpress, and is still a fair bit pricier.

I guess there is no simple way to research them so I will just buy 1 of each before buying more

I will share my findings on this discord
