I am looking for a power monitor that will fit a standard American 3 prong outlet. I want to monitor my washer power consumption to alert me when it is done. I have a vibration sensor is sort of ok, but if I put anything on the washer I get a false notification. Most of the ones I have found are 15amp however, the circuit breaker is a 20 amp. It is an older washer and since I am in an apartment, I can't do anything to the cord or outlet. I found this:
https://www.amazon.com/Compatible-sockets-Control-Function-scheduling/dp/B0CPVTD92L
and this:

I have no idea of these are compatable with Home Assistanst though. Does anybody know if I can use these or if you don't know, can you make a suggestion?

Thank you

Other thing I have done is remove the outer sheath from a short extension cord, and then you can put a clamping ammeter around the line wire. Then you can monitor power consumption that way, without modifying anything else or putting electronics in the path of actual operation.
That said, have to be very careful it's all still properly isolated.⚡
