This sensor was paired to an Aeotec Gen5 stick which i no longer have. How can i reset it so that i can pair it with ZWA-2. I have tried pushing the reset button, tried to take the battery out. However, all efforts have been futile so far. How do i reset this motion sensor without the Aeotec stick?

here is something that was on the community from quite a while ago but looks relevant:

For anyone experiencing this with the GoControl WAPIRZ-1, reset the unit by leaving the battery out for about 5 minutes or so, and then depressing the tamper button for one second 3 times in a row. Hopefully, this will help someone!

I imagine it’s back up in the page here somewhere, but what brand are your motion sensors?

I suppose i need to put the battery back and then press the reset button 3 times in a row.

which doesn't seem to show the procedure above. but its likely worth a go as others had luck with it
