I factory reset my device, removed it from ha, restarted inbetween to make sure any cleanup is done. I then connect it to my wifi, and add it via discovery. This acts as a normal esphome device without any setup voice assistant prompt. Also tried on the android app to see if any native prompt would work, but nothing.
Am I doing something daft?

suggest to re-install the PE firmware from this link: https://esphome.github.io/home-assistant-voice-pe/
Also check network connectivity DNS/DHCP/NTP and so on.

Just got round to flashing the firmware, connected to wifi, added to home assistant, still no voice assistant setup. Nothing in the logs seems to suggest an issue

the entities are disabled by config entry and cannot be enabled
