Hey. In my house we have Niko Home Control, a more commercial home control program. This control is executed via a Home Control Hub of sorts. Probably very similar to Ikea or so... If I look in Niko's app i can find this device is connect to wifi via the ipadress 192.168.0.123. If I want to add the Niko integration into Home Assistant I need to fill in this IP adress but this not possible/ Home Assistant doesn't accept this IP-adress. If i fill this IP adress into chrome i can't connect to the site (probably normal). If i fill in 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 into the web (which is normally the ip-adress of the router itself) i also cannot connect. (annoying). However i can go to the site of my provider Telenet where i can also find wich devices are connected to the router and with which IP-adress. In this list i also cannot find this Niko device nor its IP-adress 192.168.0.123

What is the IP Address of your Home Assistant?

no this is not the problem. i was able to reach HA. it is that i have problems connecting this Niko smart hub to the HA

thank you for your assistance. i was trying to use https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/niko_home_control this integration. but after further research this is only available for Niko Home control I and I'm using niko home control II . Now i'm trying to use https://github.com/joleys/niko-home-control-II . I don't know how difficult this is going to be. Also annoyingly this only works if i ask for a hobby API from Niko which only lasts for one year
but maybe some explenations with my ip-question would me helpful for later uses. if this is in your expertise
