can you hook it up on a pc and reinstall firmware? here is the link: https://esphome.github.io/home-assistant-voice-pe/
Install firmware on Home Assistant Voice PE.
Also consider talking a nabu casa cloud subscription, makes things a lot easier. And faster whn using voice.. 😉
do you have a flat network configuration or some kind of complex setup?
I have the same issue.
HA Voice Assistant reacts on wakeword and push button.
Push button events are shown in the device settings and logs
I can switch on and off the LED ring from the device dashboard
But when trying to "setup voice assistant", I get that screen
Does not look like I have to reinstall the firmware, dos it?
ANd, yes: They are in different VLANs. But they can obviously talk
Looks like HA can "talk", but not back.
Also check what you have in HA Network page in system settings for local address. It should be plain http.
Oh! No TLS/https?!
local address is https://ha-name.local:8123
Is it possible to support https with HA voice? Am I forced to use the full HA communication internally unencrypted, just for HA Voice?
No talkback? I can see in HA if there was a double-press/triple_press.... on HA Voice? Is this no communication from HA Voice to HA?
Sound proxy, responsible for delivering TTS, doesn't work well with HTTPS
Probably there's the way to make it work, but it would involve taking control.
Is there a way to do a http fallback only for HA Voice?
