Hello,
I am looking for a camera that can be fully ran locally and features motion detection, can pan & tilt or is fisheye, doesn't need drilling into wall and ideally in small form factor

I heard about Reolink being good, but I am unsure if the motion detection runs on the camera or needs software to do so. If it needs external device for detection, then how powerful does the hardware need to be?

I found Reolink E320 on used market as "new sealed" for 25€, unsure if they are fake Reolink cameras.

Thanks a lot

Simple motion detection should be a capability every camera of the last decade should have

Generally most things work on camera with those reolinks, tho they have nvr/hubs available. Only if you need more ai then you probably need something external

But correct me, because I cannot think of any except detection of specific people using faces.

And those Reolinks don't need any connection to their servers for anything?
For example Tuya or Xiaomi products need at least the initial handshake or whatever.

It shouldn't be mandatory as far as I know, ie they likely use their services for remote access by default. For storage there is either the NVR/hub, microsd card or cloud option
