Not a clue how to do it.

#

I google it
https://www.reddit.com/r/homeassistant/comments/z8yzqc/weather_stations_and_home_assistant/
ok they suggest ecowitt2mqtt https://github.com/bachya/ecowitt2mqtt
e2m requires you to get the awnet app to change settings
I tried to connect the app
It tells me to press two buttons on the weather station that I don't have
google
find guy with the same issue https://community.home-assistant.io/t/ambient-weather-available-locally-now-integration-anyone/299180/62?page=4
they suggest the WSView Plus app
install app and try it
can't get past wifi setup

#

Solved (I think?). You don't need the app.

On your AW station display (I have a WS-2000) go to settings, Weather Server, Customised setup, enter the IP of your Home Assistant, , port 8080, set interval to the lowest it can go (8 seconds) if you wish

I can't figure out how MQTT works though so I don't know if it did work
