Hiyo,

As a starting person with HA, dont kill me please ;)

I've just got my hands on a beautiful HP 600G G2 with an Ubuntu installation.

Home-Assistant has been succesfully installed on there.

However, with my current subscription that i got, the cloud services of Nabu Casa don't want to connect anymore to my HA.

It keep giving me the notification ''No subcription detected'' while there is an active subscription.

Yes i already have tryed to logout and login with my nabu casa account, as i also just turned on and off my HA.

Are there any other solutions on fixing this issue?

Following on this issue,

While it cannot make a cloud connection, (see screenshot)

It also dont provide me external allowance into the HA application on phone

The notification is likely a bug and you can ignore it. You have a subscription (trial) on the Home Assistant Cloud page.

So here is the thing, @tidal prairie, i've been waiting for over an hour, but the external link couldn't be made

#

Even with turning the HA off / logging out and logging in, into the account once again

Your HA install needs to be connected to the cloud for the URL to work. The screenshot shows that it is not

#

Waiting will not do. You'll have to try looking into why HA is not connected to the cloud services.

i get that, but thats why i came here for help, as i have actually no clue on this

Right, so the installation itself may be related. You say this is on Ubuntu?

cobalt maple
#

yeah

#

Colleague of mine has helped me with it, as he already did multiple installations with that

What do you see at Settings > About in the UI?

And i assume, that i wouldn';t be able to connect to homeassistant.local:8123 if the installation is corrupt or some

tidal prairie
#

well you can be connected locally, and have issues connecting to the internet or resolving DNS, or simply not be connected to the cloud services.

Ok so this is not a "supervised" install. Is it a virtual machine running on Ubuntu?

its literally an HP 600G G2 mini desktop

#

with ubuntu installation, so not using any VMware

Home Assistant OS is an operating system. Maybe this is dual booting Ubuntu/HA OS

#

Or it is just HA OS and Ubuntu is gone

#

but anyway, try a system reboot first. This is not a restart of HA and is found in the advanced options of the HA restart menu

#

I guess we will find out what the situation is when the reboot happens
