Setup

Ubiquiti UniFi network

  • All Matter devices (Home Assistant, new device, phone for commissioning) fully inside "IoT" VLAN in 192.168.100.x/24
  • mDNS is enabled for IoT VLAN (and others)
  • IGMP snooping is disabled for IoT VLAN only

TP-Link Tapo P110M Smart Plug

  • Firmware is up-to-date according to Tapo app
  • Factory resetting before each attempt

Problem

I have previously been able to commission other (including TP-Link) Matter devices in the past on my same UniFi network. (Before the Matter Add-on v8.0.0 release)
The Matter plug successfully connects to the network, but cannot seem to be added to the Home Assistant Matter controller.
I have tried a different Matter device (TP-Link smart light switch), which also cannot be added.
I have used a different phone (Both are Samsung Androids).
I have successfully been able to add it to another controller (Samsung SmartThings).
