I've been trying to look at how to edit the YAML configuration of the default dashboard, but every answer seems to give a comprehensive GitHub repo or addon which is completely over-the-top. Where can I see how to make basic and trivial changes to the YAML to add different tiles in a basic layout?
I do understand YAML perfectly fine, I just want to learn the HA syntax and quirks.
