I’m running HAOS as a Proxmox VM. I used the standard hardware settings, which includes 32GB disk size (SSD). Now that I’m also running Frigate as an addon on this VM, I need extra storage. So I added a new virtual 1TB drive to the VM (HDD). This was successful, since I van see the drive in the hardware section. Now I’m unsure as to how I make Frigate use this drive for storage. Thanks in advance!
#How to store frigate (addon) data on a different drive.

Why not just increase the main disk? The only supported way is to move the data disk but this makes no sense in your case.
HomeAssistant does not currently support setting media drives to secondary local disks, only network drives
Because the main disk is an SSD, and I don’t have enough SSD capacity to store all the video footage. I do have enough HDD storage for all the video, but I want to keep the main drive SSD.
So then it might be best to run frigate on a separate VM (maybe with docker)?
