I am looking for some suggestions on cameras.
Use case:
To monitor baby in doors.
Prefer local only integration
local video storage with in app playback
POE for power.
Wants:
Crisp image. (no set resolution/ mp)
2 way audio (speaker + microphone) (speaker is a nice to have but would like it)
night vision
ability to tilt/pan etc.
considering a reolink camera not sure the right model that would be able to handle all this.

rl-820a is great, poe, AI detection, 2way audio, local storage, no cloud
no ptz though

are you sure the 820A has 2 way audio?

I am seeing that there is no way to use the 2 way audio without using the reo app. maybe it's not as high a priority if that is the case. Just want reliable speaker that can hear the baby at very least
I see Frigate NVR Add-on should allow for local video playback if it is needed.

Thinking of going with the Reolink E1 Outdoor PoE. It has PT and 2 way audio
The E1 doesn’t have 2way audio either. I have one. Very nice camera. Luckily I don’t need 2way audio, unless it was to talk to the foxes who sometimes wander into the garden.
Apologies. I never even noticed the Talk button in the reolink app. For some weird reason it’s in a different place compared to my reolink doorbell (WiFi powered by the old low voltage AC wiring). So I can talk to the foxes Hah. Shame that iirc it’s one thing you can’t do through HA. The reolink stuff is jolly nice overall. Just don’t get anything battery powered.
