Good afternoon
I have a problem with my lights and HA. When I switch off the light at the wall switch it takes too long to detect that the light isnt available... and continues to how the on off working in the HA... When I reboot the HA is detects that the light is off, so it stays grey and do nothing...
Can someone help me?
Hope I am in the good place to put this question...
#HA not detecting status light when manually ON/OFF

I have Home assistant instaled on a RP4 with conbee, tried with philips hue or ikea smart lights and the problem persists... HA is full updated
When I turn the light off by the wall switch, for the HA it continues on...
Hue lights are not meant to be turned off completely. It also hurts the Zigbee network as Hue bulbs are routing devices. And it needs some time for the network to realize, it isn't alive anymore. In ZHA, for example, the timeout can be adjusted in the ZHA settings. Lowering it too much might lead to devices wrongly be shown as unavailable, if they check-in too late.
when you have zigbee bulbs you should not cut the power to them. replace your wall switches with zigbee capable ones and use ha or direct bindings (can be set up in z2m at least) to turn on/off at the bulb.
I cannot replace the wall switches, but I would love to do that.
