I was using Tuya Smart (orange icon iOS) and re-adopted my devices to change SSIDs. After this, my Hubitat and Node-Red integration stopped working. I believe when you adopt a device the local key is regenerated. However, I am still unable to get this to work via cloud or local control like I used to be able to. I've read a lot about home assistant and had that configured for some specific gear I use - so I tried the cloud AND localtuya with HACS and no matter what I cannot get the devices to respond. I created an entirely new app account with "Smart Life" (blue icon on iOS) and moved one light there - then created a new developer project and linked smart life to that project and I CAN control one light - but after adopting the other 3 (same make/model) lights to the account, I can still only control the one I originally added - I cannot control the other three. The other three give the same error as I was getting previously on the other app (orange icon). I can still use the iOS app and control the lamps, can ping them, can get their local keys after joining the Smart Life app, their new (reserved) IPs, and for some reason I cannot get it to work - it says the command timed out in Node-Red and HA says: Failed to perform the action light/turn_on. network error:(SYSTEM_ERROR) Server Error
#tuya local nor cloud allow control anymore?

reboot everything..
you mean the lamps, the access point, node-red- home assistant, and maybe even hubitat?
and router, modem. clean start of ip addresses
I have a static IP - not sure how rebooting the router does anything with the local network control? But I can do that - everyone's asleep. 🙂
well, I have the lamps labeled 1, 2, 3, and 4. #3 was easiest to get to and try to move to the new app and was the working one. After rebooting everything, 2, and 3 both work, but 1, and 4 are still only working with the app, and not with cloud or local control 😦
could do a check on tuya dev platform, tuya cloud does not run with ipv6 as far as i know, so i would disable it temp if enabled
already runs disabled in my house
