#Inovelli Red Dimmer - Smart Bulb mode...included successfully, now what?

Title mostly covers it. I have it wired to power but not physically switching anything. I want to associate it to some smart bulbs and have it turn them on/off and dim them. The inovelli instructions I've found just kind of end after inclusion. I did find the Smart Bulb parameter and turned that on...but what's the next step to tell it what to control? I went to setup an automation, but there are a million trigger options and I just sorta don't know what I'm looking at, or even if an automation is what I want. Is there a guide out there for setting this thing up with smart bulbs?

I just installed HA yesterday on a Yellow+CM5 with the Zooz 800 dongle. I have some very limited prior experience helping my GF setup her HA system about 18mo ago...but mostly I was the wire-the-outlets guy and she did the software side. So go easy on a noob pls 🥸

oh yeah as for the light devices, I have a few Philips Hue bulbs and a Govee floor lamp all setup and working with HA already. No automations or scenes or anything added to them but I can turn them on/off from my HA app.

Right now this is all just a test setup to try and figure out how it all works. So for now I just want to get the dimmer controlling any of the lights.

It might help if you show which entities exist

Thanks for the reply...I don't have the Inovelli wired up right now so can't pull the entities. But I did at some point after making this post that the automations UI (and the UI more generally) just doesn't show nearly all the possible triggers/entities/etc.

It seems that for most of these dimmers you pretty much have to configure them via YAML rather than the UI to get more than off/on.
