I have 2 way switch originally installed in my house for the staircase, i wanted to exchange it with Akara H1 single switches only to find out while installing it that they apparently are not compatible for a 2 way, any work around it?

probably not. you are better off getting something designed for your setup.

This is the current setup upstairs, wall socket on the left and switch on the right, if the wall socket has neutral and is powering the switch, does that mean the switch would be sort of 'borrowing' the neutral from the wall socket?
In that case the Akara H1 switch wouldn't need separate neutral? or would it be wiser to split that neutral into to to have 1 for socket and one for switch
