I just installed an Ecobee thermostat and it's on a different subnet from my HA install. How do I add it?

Add integration > Homekit device was showing earlier "no unpaired devices" or something like that. Currently it only shows a Roku

You'll need an mDNS repeater. Many routers have it built-in. What router do you have?

What would be the service name? I already have Avahi running with reflection enabled.

Gotcha. You might need to go to the homekit settings on the thermostat then before HA will see it
