Starting new zigbee/zwave system

Starting fresh on a new house and looking for new recievers. i had a deconz at the old house but had issues with some sensors dropping off.. Now im looking at conbee 2 and the z stick 10 pro which does both protocols.

Anyone have experience with these or better recommendations?

and is aqara door sensors still the most recommended?

Dropping of sensors is generally not an issue if the coordinator but of the mesh being insufficiency stable

You could get the homeassistant one, the same specish sonof e or a Ethernet connected one with it without poe (if you use z2m)
