#Updating Utility meter to add a new tarrif?

If I create a new helper for utility meter I can create a single meter, with multiple tarrifs, I did that a year or so ago and its been working perfectly.

I now am changing plans a bit and need to add an extra tarrif, and just can't figure out how to do that? Even though I created a single utility meter with multiple tarrifs it seams to just have created individual utility meters for each tarrif, and I can't figure out how to get back to that main edit screen to add a new tarrif so it works with the rest of them?

If I just create a new utility meter its not avalibale as an option when changing tarrifs, so it does defintly need to be linked to my old group.

If I go via entities instead of helpers I can see the group, but can not edit it to add a new tarrif?

It doesn't appear that changing tariffs is possible on an existing utility meter, it has to be set at creation.

it seams to just have created individual utility meters for each tarrif

That's how it's supposed to work, you get one independent counter for the energy consumed by each tariff

#

And a select entity to switch the tariff

yes, that does seam to be how it works, what I'm not sure about is how to add a new option to that select?

And if I delete the existing meter and create a brand new one from scratch, the energy dashboard will loose all its history?

It won't. Just recreate it with the same entity id.

Delete old, create new, change entity ids to match old if necessary.
