Hello I'm new to HA. I'm moving into a new apartment, and I want to get several temperature and humidity sensors.

I've previously assembled some ESP32 boards with SCD41s that worked really well, but this time I'm looking for suggestions that are a bit visually neater. Also, I'm not sure how I'd get power to the devices.

So, I'd like your recommendations on small sensors that I could place around the apartment, including high up near the air conditioner vents. Are there any long-lasting battery powered pre-built devices that can do wifi (or something else) that I can manage with HA?

Zigbee or zwave are better choices for battery-powered sensors

Yes, I have one in every room, and one outside the window. With coin batteries, lasts for more than a year. You need to make some extra effort for the firmware change but it worths the effort. About 5 euros each in Aliexpress

I buy cheap zigbee temp/humidity from aliexpress where there are a lot of sellers under $5 each. I recommend purchasing sensors that are Tuya / Smart Life compatible. Be sure to click the zigbee "color" option for better battery life compared to WiFi. Here is an example of what I buy https://shorturl.at/UBU0p
You will need a Zigbee gateway / coordinator device like the Sonoff Zigbee USB Dongle Plus-ZB Dongle-E to communicate to sensors https://shorturl.at/lDKJL
