So until now i had for around 2 years the Reolink Wifi Doorbell. And oh boy do i hate it. It unregulary restarts or disconnects from wifi, no idea what the problem is. THe singal strength is more then good, testet is.
Also after switch from AVM Fritzbox to Unify Hardware when the signal got even better it still has the same problem. I also got a replcement deice but without changes.
I use The doorbell in Home Assistant, no wonder, with frigate. And i really need a deice that runs stable.
I have the camera running by old power supply of my manuall doorbell. Unfortunatly i can no bring a Lan cable there for POE support.
So i am looking for a different doorbell that does not need the cloud, is fully local usable without any extra cost on monthly base.
What do you guys use, and with what hardware are you happy?
