Need help setting up Zigbee2MQTT using

Hello folks!
Today i got my new SMLight SLZB-06p10 for my first dabble into the world of zigbee, but i cant quite get through the onboarding on zigbee2MQTT.
every time i enter the static IP (yes, alrady gave it a static adress) , port and stack into the onbarding UI from the HA AddOn, it says "Settings saved. Zigbee2MQTT is now starting. you can close this page"
But if i try to open the web interface from z2m it just gives me the onboarding again.
So does anyone have an idea how to onboard my new device as my first zigbee coordinator?
(the p10 is officially supportet by z2m, i triple checked that one alraedy^^)

for clarification, i want to use the coordinator over ethernet, not usb, due to my walls beeing incredible thick.
if i plug my antenna straight into HA via usb, the signal wouldnt reach to my devices

Hi, can you see the device web interface in the browser if you enter the static ip and the port? That would be my first step, just to be sure is up and running

Yes yes, sorry for the confusion, the smlight is indeed running and working correctly afaik, I can access the web interface of it. But if I enter the IP and port it says on its own web interface into the z2q onboarding, the onboarding just resets.
Like I go to the z2q tab of HA and it wants to onboard again

how did you connect your smlight thingy?

Via an ethernet cable. I've been looking into the web app and the configuration is as ZigBee concentrator only. Mine is SLZB06 model

I've figured it out, I should really stop just copy pasting config files and not reading them.
I copied the serial config in the first space. So ofc it didn't work.
