Moving into a new and bigger house and I am wanting to get away from Google. Currently use the Google mesh for coverage.

The eero 7 router says it acts as a Zigbee hub, works with Thread and "Matter (controller only)" .

I wanted to make sure that means if I switch over to the Eero 7 I won't need to shell out more money for hubs for Thread and Matter? And I just need to make sure any smart devices I buy in the future works with those.... Which covers most of all the things.

Assuming the eero can be interfaced with homeassistant it should I guess, even tho that may not be the best solution
