#Need to measure a single 240v device

I added two Refoss energy monitors to my breaker panels, but the CT clamps aren't big enough for my pool cables or stovetop. Is there a solution for a single device I want to monitor? I'm thinking something like ESPHome + CT clamp(s).

I see a lot of Tuya devices on Amazon, how are those? Any recommended ones?

What size are the cables?

not 100% sure, it's fairly thick. Similar in size to my mains cables.

it's a 100 amp breaker in my main panel going to a sub-panel for the pool. Based on usage when the pool turns on, I don't believe it's pulling anywhere close to 100 amps but I suppose they used a thick cable for the run due to distance.

10mm is what they measure.

100 amps at 240v? I should hope it's not pulling that much!

Your CT clamps should only be going over the active wire, not the whole cable.

This image definitely falls under the category of "don't try this at home", it's just to give you an idea of what I mean.

@meager axle It's not, in fact, the main pool pump only draws a few amps. I imagine I'd get a bit more if I also turn on the spa pump and bubbler, and heaters, but not all that much. The heaters run on propane. I imagine they ran it on a 100 amp breaker since it's going to a pool subpanel by all the equipment. The issue is they used thick 10mm cables in the main breaker panel, so the Refoss CT clamps wouldn't fit over it. The mains clamps would have, but those are of course over the mains. That's why I'm looking for a solution.

Then my cooktop is on a breaker that's not by my panels, it has it's own breaker at the box next to the meter.

So your active cable is 10mm thick?

yes, you can see in the bottom left hand corner the 100 amp breaker.
