I'm going to be replacing my ceiling fan and wanted to see if people had recommendations on which brands/models integrate very well with HA. I currently have an GE/Jasco Enbrighten fan controller and light switch driving the one that came with the house, but I wouldn't mind more fine tuned control directly with the fan itself. Budget is not a limiting factor. Light is required, uplight would be nice. Quiet is a priority and energy efficiency is a huge plus. If you'd be so kind as to share your recommendations and what makes you happy with it, it'd be extremely welcome.
#Recommendations for ceiling fans that integrate well (US)

New home build here and went with MinkaAire ceiling fans with Smart Hub (Integrated Bond). The Bond integration works perfect and I also have the MinkaAire wired wall controllers. The states carry over from remote/wall and bond wifi. Had one MinkaAire at old house for two years with zero issue and 6 months in they are as stable as anything else.
I have 9 MinkaAire fans.
If you are using or getting regular A/C powered fans, you can look at inovelli.. They have Matter/Thread, Zigbee and zWave fan switches and Fan Canopy controllers that work really well
MinkaAire are all DC motors(quiet) so the normal GE or even Inovelli FAN controllers don't work with them.
Thanks @rough kite ! Yeah, I was hoping for a zwave solution, but also wanted the DC motors.
The MinkaAire are attractive and I'll read through the manual.
Very happy with my Big Ass Fans fans.
the fans are silent and move a lot of air. and customer service is solid.
You are happy with the HA integration, @severe ocean ?
Those things are so crazy expensive. What's the value? Are they really worth it?
Look at the Bond bridge which is a programmable RF to WiFi bridge that you add fan control and other devices by preprogramming with the existing fan remote. Also works with IR controlled devices. https://shorturl.at/OByZ6. This would be a lot easier and less expensive than buying new fans.
If your existing fan or remote isn't RF then you can simply replace the remote relay with this one that is RF and will work with Bond bridge.

Our existing fan is getting replaced either way. It's a regular old 3-wire install and I have two Z-wave switches in the wall to control it (one fan controller and one dimmer for the lights). I'd personally like to avoid a WiFi bridge, but I already have a POE ESP-based RF controller for my Somfy RTS motors. I'll have to poke around and see if I can add some functionality there to support some of the Bond compatible fans.
@severe ocean sorry to resurrect this old thread, but I wondered if you could tell me more about the BAF integrations. I have a strict no-cloud rule at home due to remote living and unreliable Internet access. Do you have yours integrated fully-local? I'm eyeballing the Speakeasy model.
I have BAF fans and really like them. The HA integration seems fine. I set it up once and didn't think about it. HA asks for the local IP.
