I have a 2018 HP 22 all in one pc that i’m using to host home assistant. I’ve typed login directly into the screen and used echo 0 | tee /sys/class/backlight/*/brightness, but after doing some research, it seems that that just takes it to the lowest dimmable backlight. Are there any best practices for turning off the screen completely? I first tried Terminal & SSH to remote in, but backlight control is configured as a read only file if I do it that way, so I have to type directly into the terminal. I also have borderline no idea what I’m doing with the programming just using the hell out of perplexity.
