probably it started with default url (and its different from yours) and are trying to connect to it.
Wait like 1min with the white page to error appears, then go to settings and fix the url/ip of your HA.

There is a fix already available on TestFlight and soon to be on App Store that will show an empty state when this happens.
For now you can shake you device to access the debug menu and reset frontend cache if needed or swipe up using 3 fingers to access companion app settings and update your config.
