NUT UPS increase polling rate | Home Assistant | Page 1

Currently it polls every 60 seconds but I'm trying to figure out how to increase the polling rate for my UPS so I can get faster updates. I've looked online and several places mention changing the NUT configuration but I couldn't find any such config anywhere.

Go to Settings -> Add-ons -> NUT -> configuration tab and update like this

it still appears to only be updating every 60 seconds and yes I did save it

Then you should try to create a polling automation

Have you tried what @lament rapids had shared? In all honesty, I have created it myself and it polls every 10 seconds and noticed I see the difference in 20 seconds.

As a side comment, what are you actually trying to accomplish? The addon also sends messages to Event's on critical issues, you can see the details at https://github.com/hassio-addons/addon-nut/blob/main/nut/DOCS.md#event-notifications

so my watt meter would update more frequencly
