Hello,
My certificate is valid until 2027 and I don't have any issue on my phone, my pc, etc.. But for unknow reason my wife has this issue.
So if I understand well the certificate is valid but not trusted because signed locally. Any idea how I can fix that ?

On my wife phone it show 2027 but on my PC browser 2025 even it's still valid (image from my PC using Vivaldi, and the validity expiration date from OMV)..

thanks

hello, not sure if it’s the same issue, mine is an certificate issue.
To resume, my certificate is valid, I m using https, everything work everywhere except on my wife phone where for whatever reason doesn’t trust the certificate

to add a related question to this ‘error’: in he settings one can use an internal https://IP:port address. Since it’s different from the ‘external Dyn-dns’ address the interface will ‘popuo a warning’ “do you trust IP”/“use anyway”.

Why do i get the ‘can not connect because untrusted certificate’ EVEN WHEN THE ‘i do trust DNSname == internal IP:port” IS TRUSTED WHILE SETTING UP.

Shouldn’t ‘trust this ip address’ trump the warning signal/disconnect for safety?

So a few things to try:

1 - Update to 2025.7.2
2 - Open companion App settings (if you don't find a way, pull to refresh and wait 5 seconds until you see an empty state)
3 - If you still can't open companion App settings you can Swipe up with 3 fingers.
4 - Then go to "Debugging > Reset frontend cache"
5 - Force close the app and open it again
6 - If nothing made it work, open companion App settings again and remove the server you already have
7 - Reboot your phone
8 - Add the server back in

Hello
Some feedback
1 - could not find version 2025.7.2 for the Home Assistant App för iOS, it says that the latest version is 2025.7.1 (2025.1342) = the one that is running
(The server runs 16.0 (2025.7.2)
2-5 does not work
6 - it can find the server, but the result when connect -"No auth providers returned. Unable to finish login. homeassistant://auth-callback
Solution "add server" with the old settings
Remove the old one.
Connected, but just through the local LAN, using 192.168.x.x.

Any chance of progress on this? I've the same issue on Android. Widgets were working fine, but the app will not connect. Cleared the app settings (regret) and tried to reconnect, same thing, but my system definitely registered a new device (another regret) even though it's saying it can't connect.

I'm also able to access it via the browser on the phone and curl from termux cli on the same device, something is definitely funky with the app.
