I'm using a beelink n150 + proxmox as a server for my HAOS install, in order to have the computer automatically restart after a power loss do I only need to update the bios setting or is there anything in proxmox that also needs to be changed?

The Restore on AC power loss setting in the UEFI should be all you need. You should really invest in a UPS though.

UPS is 100% on the list-- I am slightly space limited in my network closet which is the main reason I've put off purchase.

You need to make sure to enable autostart in the HAOS VM itself as well

Good point. I did not even think of that because it's just so, for lack of a less snobbish term, obvious.

I think that piece is on by default

If you use a helper script it might default to that.

I did yeah, so that's likely exactly what happened.

Thanks for the guidance both of you.

i remember my eq14 having the setting burried somewhere in the bios and it took me a while to find. 😛
