All repositories uninstalled and can't be updated in HACS | Home Assistant | Page 1

Hi everyone

I took a break from HA for a bit and now that I'm back I want to play around with some new things in HACS (mainly bubble cards 3.0)

I updated HA from 2025.3 to 2025.7.1 today, but when I went to HACS, I see this image as my HACS screen. I know I have a lot of repos because I've got a test dashboard for the last version of bubble card that I used that still works, but I can't for the life of me figure out why it's not showing up as a downloaded repo? I feel like it's probably something simple but I can't for the life of me figure out why it's doing this

I'm not sure, if the new HACS version started over new. I'd just re-download them.

The integrations and cards are likely not uninstalled, but just not recognized as installed.

the issue is i don't even remember everything i had downloaded

i know some things, like bubble card, but i don't know if there's a way to find every single thing i had downloaded? the last time i added anything to HACS would have been probably 4-6 months ago i reckon

The things you downloaded are in the custom_components (integrations), www/community (cards) and themes directories.

ah, there's not an easier way to get them all back? if they're in those folders they're obviously there, so it must be an issue with hacs right?

There was a major update some time ago. It might have changed the way it keeps track of the installed stuff.

As a major version bump, this release includes breaking changes:
Make sure you have a recent backup of your Home Assistant configuration folder before updating; the 2+ versions are not backward compatible.
Make sure you read the breaking changes below.

I assume it might have been the big version leap without proper migration from a 1.x to a 2.0 HACS.

The quote was from the HACS 2.0 release.

But that update has been in August 2024.

That's been the update that changed the HACS UI.
