I've just created a new mobile dashboard with several area cards as I think it might be a potential replacement for my mushroom based mobile dashboard.
However, I see that it's not possible to lower the height of the card to 2 when an "Area image" is selected - why?
I see that choosing "Compact" allows to lower to height up to 1.
Would you consider allowing a smaller height (say 2) going forward?

There was just another thread about similar issue, where it was noticed that it is possible to define rows: null, i.e. keep it undefined
