#LG webOS 25 - Cannot setup integration

I just upgraded from a 2015 model LG TV to a new OLED 65" C5 TV and cannot for the life of me get this integration to work with it.

I can't find a Mobile TV setting in any part of the interface to enable despite several guides saying that this is the way, but I did find something about IP Control buried somewhere in there, which I enabled but it wants to generate a code to use, which doesn't seem to be a thing for the HA integration to use.

Has anyone gotten the 2025 model LG OLEDs working with this integration who would give me some advice?

As far as the integration goes, it seemed to detect the new TV on the network, but any attempt to get it to pair fails.

Nevermind, it seems this was was a problem brought about by the newest firmware from LG, and has since been addressed by the integration author.

@dense hatch I am expereicing the same issue! But have not had success after updating to the latest home assistant, did you try anything else?

Not sure on the timing for when we'll see it, but it should be in an upcoming Home Assistant update.

off topic: Do you guys find the LG integration works well with Home Assistant? I am thinking LG might be the best TV OS for Home Assistant but it is early days in my search.

I have used it with my older 55" LG TV and it works great. The only thing I couldn't get the old TV to do with the integration was to turn on. Otherwise, it is really well featured and was something I used daily.

I've typically had success w/ LG (and other) TVs to use Wake On LAN to turn on the TV

I've tried that with it, but I've never had success there. Might be too old?

If it's wired... that'd be odd. If it's wireless, there may be a setting to prevent network sleep

Yes, it was setup with ethernet, but never responded to a wake-on-lan event. Not a big deal though, I still made good use of the integration with it.
