I’m looking for a smart light switch that works in Europe and can do both of the following:
✔️ Act as a normal physical switch (actually cutting power)
✔️ Also work purely as a smart switch (with the relay disabled, digital control only)
✔️ And ideally let me switch between those modes flexibly
In a smart home video I saw, the Zooz ZEN71 and Inovelli Red Series were mentioned as great options, but they’re mainly for the US.
For Europe, I found the Aqara Light Switch H2 EU, but I’m not 100% sure if it truly supports both modes – especially when using Zigbee vs Matter. Has anyone here tested it or knows how it behaves?
Also open to any better suggestions that work in Europe!
It’s really important it still functions if the smart system goes down – my roommates will freak out if the lights stop working 😅
