I connected my voice PE to my speakers a few days ago, but now when disconnecting it, it doesn't play the disconnect chime and isn't outputting sound on its internal speaker.

I think to remember there was an issue with that. Did you make sure you are updated to the latest firmware version?
Not sure if this was a poor batch of them kinda issue or something in regards to the software

Its on the newest version (Firmware: 25.5.2 (ESPHome 2025.5.1))
It did work before (so i connected and disconnected it a few times and it played the chime and worked on internal and external speaker), but it just stopped working today.

unplugging power and replugging does not fix it?
if so it may be best to contact the seller i guess. or have a browser on the forums because this has been an issue before
