#Energy Panel not showing sensor

Hi,

Im new to the forums, iv been using HA for a few months now and im still learning, i have an electricity sensor that is not showing on my Energy Grid Panel, been doing some research about it and aparently the reason is because its state_class is classified as measurement instead of total_increasing, i also read somewhere that i can create custom sensors based on the values on my default sensor in order to work, converting it from measuremen to total_increasing so it can show up on my Energy Panel.

Can anyone help me on how can i acomplish this?

Are you sure it's an energy sensor? And not a power sensor? They are most definitely not the same thing 🙂

What integration do you use for the sensor?

tldr
turning a power sensor into energy sensor requires two helpers (maybe just one if you're power isnt a negative number)
