I’m currently running NPM as an HA add-on. Working great, no issues.

I noticed I’m running v1.0.1 which appears to be current. The NPM GitHub repository (not the HA add-on) is showing v2.12.3. Then, I noticed the HA Add-on shows not maintained since 2024. Is there a reason why?

What’s the recommendation, keep NPM v1.0.1 going, convert to a container running the latest NPM, other option (if so, what?)

It looks like there's build issues with updates to that add-on, while the add-on's version is 1.0.1, it's providing NPM 2.10.4 currently (from 2023).

I think that'd be up to you as far as proceeding, since it is outdated, there's likely some security issues. The only alternative apart from proposing a fix would be to explore another solution.... separate container off of HA w/ NPM or a different proxy add-on

Thanks. I guess I was looking for how others are doing it… maybe they are just using nabu casa.
