What is the best/ simplest way to have a screen to show a dashboard, notifications and overall info?
It doesn't need to have a touch input, I just want to read stuff of it. How is this done in gernal, having a "main control screen"? I assumed an iPad, but that would be always on, which an iPad is not really made for, or you always have to unlock the iPad first, which makes the use of such screen very low, as I could just use my phone.
I'm looking for something with low energy consumption, maybe E Ink? So it doesn't use so much energy while the thing is on and most of the time nobody is looking at it.
Is is somehow possible to use a Amazon Echo Show 15? I assume not, but would be a great device for that usecase. Are there similar screens that work with HA?
