As I am eagerly waiting for my Satellite 1 dev kit to arrive and am also currently in the process of remodeling my house, I wanted to gather some tips.
I am planning on putting some louder esp32 hooked to ceiling speakers in almost every room and am wondering if I need any further inwall outlets for say microphones for future voice interactions with "the house and local AI" or if this is not necessary and just a Satellite or similar hooked t o a usb outlet might be the more flexible solution?
I also stumbled across some DeepSeek XiaoZhi AI Voice call touch screens powered with esp32s and wondered If anybody has used these with HA?
Also: Presence Detection.
Is "HLK-LD2450 mmWave " the way to go and how and where do I position them?
Any "I wish I had done that before" or "don't do that" advice is greatly appreciated !
