Ideally this would use Thread/Matter, but I'd love any non cloud suggestions. One feature I really like is being able to set a schedule for the fan to run and being able to ad-hoc run the fan for the next X hours.

I am using 9 EVE Thermos (Matter over Thread). EVE doesn’t need the cloud and the complete EVE portfolio is ‘Works with HA’ certified. I bought them as HomeKit devices, upgraded them to Matter via the EVE app and now get OTA updates via HA.

IMO this is not what you are looking for. 😃 You can’t control a fan with this device.

This looks like it supports matter over WiFi. Maybe I will try that

Hah, I will try to update. I’m undergoing a big overhaul now and may wait on the thermostat for a while. Still waiting on my sky connect to come in anyway

I don’t need the dongle. Not sure what I was thinking. This is Matter, not Matter over thread

No fan control and the way the climate device is exposed it is hard to tell if it is actually running or not

If you use their lan addon instead it is easy to tell when the device is actually running. In particular I am using a bubble card

But their is talk on GitHub of them working to make their lan integration work better and also exposing the same entities over matter. If that happens it could probably be pretty good
