I can't believe I've been using HA for this long and failed to notice this. The Nest thermostat integration doesn't allow control over the fan state. I noticed this after opening the Nest app for the first time in ages, since the seasonal energy savings options have turned on, and I realized that it's not possible to manually activate the fan on HA, but it is possible in the Nest app. Is it possible that I've misconfigured something, or perhaps this is functionality missing from the integration? For reference, the Nest app allows the fan to be activated for a set time interval, as well as on a schedule, and the fan is always on any time the HVAC system is heating or cooling.

This might actually be an issue with mushroom/mushroom dashboard strategy -- it seems like the card for the default lovelace HVAC controls does support the fan. Perhaps the problem isn't with the Google Nest integration but actually with Mushroom
