Has anyone integrated the linear GD00z-5 Garage door opener with HA. When I try the device shows up with no controls just Status and Ping entities. Can it be scripted with Yaml? has anyone done that?

Presumably you are using the Z-Wave integration? This device requires secure inclusion. Make sure your add-on (or however you run Z-Wave JS) has security keys set. If I recall correctly, there is a batch of these that have a firmware bug and you have to explicitly include with S0 (Legacy) security as well, instead of the "default" inclusion method.
Otherwise, sometimes security devices can be tricky to include, and any hiccup in the inclusion process will abort the security bootstrapping. Make sure the basics are covered: https://zwave-js.github.io/zwave-js/#/troubleshooting/first-steps

Yes Z-wave with the Aeotec Z-Wave Stick 7 and Home Assistant Green. I think I've tried all security variations. I'll try again and confirm keys are set. I remember doing that a few times at various iterations.
