I recently added a Mac mini to my PC setup and was surprised that there was no app that exposed Mac as entities into Home Assistant. So I made it. Limited functionality for now, will add more over time.

The Home Assistant Companion App on macOS exposes a number of sensors such as battery level, camera state, active app, etc. I haven't used it recently since the machine where it would be most useful for me is provided by my employer and I'm not allowed to install unapproved 3rd-party apps 😞 https://companion.home-assistant.io/docs/core/#feature-comparison

I don't think it currently provides remote control capabilities though.

Yes, that’s why I created this. Volume, mute/unmute, power, monitor power entities are controllable via my app
