#Remote Zigbee Network Extension for Home Assistant via Zigbee2MQTT?

I have a Home Assistant setup at home using Zigbee2MQTT with a Sonoff Zigbee stick.

Now, I also have a storage unit located some distance away, and I’d like to monitor it using Home Assistant.

Is there a way to create a sort of "Zigbee tunnel" to that remote location so I can integrate Zigbee devices there as if they were part of my main Zigbee network at home and manage them centrally through my existing Home Assistant instance?

Not using zigbee alone

What you can do, though, is use a LAN bridge (ethernet or wifi, it doesn't matter - even 4G/5G and a VPN would work) and have a separate ZHA/Z2MQTT setup in the other building using something like this as a Zigbee proxy

You have to set it up as a separate Zigbee network entirely, though, so I believe it's only really possible to have two networks (one ZHA, one Z2MQTT) unless you do some fiddly stuff

The other option would be to get eg an Aqara or Tuya or IKEA hub and then use their integrations (again over LAN) to have a second Zigbee network. I technically have 3 Zigbee networks in my home - ZHA, Z2MQTT, and an IKEA one, but as far as Home Assistant is concerned it's 2x Zigbee networks and one "IKEA provides me with some smart devices, I don't know how" integration
