Ah thanks, I found the setting. I could reproduce it when the beta was still installed, and can't reproduce now. Will try to upgrade and reproduce again soon, and download logs etc.

So, I managed to reproduce the issue. I cloned the VM that runs my HA instance, updated from 5.2 to 6b4, reconfigured a few ZHA devices and waited. It took more than two hours (and 255k lines of debug log) to occur but at some point the devices I had reconfigured (and not other ones) rejoined the network. I will file an issue on Github
