I'm trying to boot from USB to install HAOS from the ground in a NVMe (it's CM5 lite), but I can't, it always flash the red light and then solid green light. I already used rpiboot and worked fine, but of course couldn't flash the eMMC because is light. Maybe I should use other firmware to boot over USB and start the installation?

Have you used rpiboot with the mass storage option to flash the NVMe? (rpiboot -d mass-storage-gadget64)
And what NVMe are you using? Not all are compatible.
Yes, I did. I'm using a Samsung 970 EVO Plus 250GB
Even I'm using the old SSD, it still keeps green light.
My idea was changing from CM4 to CM5 lite and also SSD to a smaller one
Sorry
Another option is to flash HAOS to the NVMe with a USB adapter.
You should also check, if the CM5 is fully inserted in its sockets.
And after flashing the jumper JP1 has to be set back to UART.
I used the rpiboot, but it didnt recognize the NVMe
Did rpiboot run without errors and are you sure, you added the mass storage option?
I used my old NVMe from kingston and recognizes. I'm flashing it now and after that I will try the samsung one.
